Hi. I am new to the site and loving it already. Does anyone have any suggestions
on the best type of scale to purchase. My son and I are looking for one that would
go up to at least 350 lbs. Thank you for your help.

Also, I am over 50 and have not exercised in years. Any ideas on how to start and
what I should try first. I am thinking about walking, as I have a dog and he could use the
exercise also.

Thanks again.
Dee

  • You may want to go online to look for a scale that goes up to 350 lbs. A digital scale will measure in 1/10th if you are looking for more precise weights. Just put 'bathroom scales' into the search engine. When you find what you want, you may be able to purchase them at a local store. Why waste the gas when you can check online first to find what you need. I order many things online as the S & H is either free or less than I'd pay for gas to go looking for an item. Also, you can check online for DVD's for exercise for beginners or for your age group .Best of luck!

Dee, I had a similar problem with crummy scales, but found one on amazon that works really well. Eat Smart Precision Plus. It actually goes all the way up to 440 lbs, and looks pretty slick too. It had great reviews, so I thought I'd try it. So far, it's very accurate and I'm quite pleased.
