Over 40, first pregnancy, looking for workout info

I'm 42 and as stated in my profile, I've been into eating well and fitness since I was in middle school! As I've aged, I have some basic wear and tear issues with hip flexors, a knee ( once in a while), and just less flexibility than I did twenty plus years ago. It was just confirmed that I am about 6 weeks pregnant- which is great as it was certainly planned- but I want to be cautious. For me, my fitness level is far less important than making it through this pregnancy with a healthy baby and a safe delivery.

When I was much younger I used to envision myself as the woman who was still running at four months pregnant. This was my fantasy. For some women it may still hold true, but I am actually worried about core temps and hurting myself/baby. In some ways I feel like I am wimping out, but my age is absolutely a factor in this. So....looking for personal experience stories with how women over 40 stayed active during pregnancy, ate well, and just general things that you did to maintain a decent fitness level. Thank you all in advance :)
