Measurements in the food database are so frustrating to me. I appreciate that most of the people using this site are Americans, and I have nothing against you ....just your cups! Well I don't particularly have any fondness for English cups, I just wish they could be the same. Why can't measurements be the same worldwide so I have some sort of concept of how many calories I'm consuming!

Sure worldwide could go to cups!
Would you like me to mail you a cup?0 -
Are you trying to convert cups to metric? There are some great sites that do that for you in instants on the net. Just put in google "cups to ml" and it will find them for you Trust me, I have to do it all the time!0

Guess I'm just frustrated that nothing is so simple as to be the same in every country. I add a food and I'm thinking 'is that a Uk cup, or a US cup?' So I get that a cup is 235-250ml (my kitchencraft measuring cup is 236.64ml) but is that an appropriate dry measurement or should everything else be weighed ....garrrrrr I dunno, suppose it's all guesstimation anyway :ohwell:0

Oh my goodness... I actually didn't realize that a cup wasn't simply 250 mL!

Yikes... I really wish we could all just standardize to mL and grams!0
