How to record fitness class

I go to a fitness class on Monday's called Body Blitz. It's a pretty intense workout, but I'm not sure how to estimate the caloric burn. It starts with a light warmup, then we do really intense cardio like jumping jacks and burpees and 180 jumps and stuff nonstop for 20 mins, then the instructor makes us do squats and lunges until our legs feel like theyre gonna fall off. That is followed by doing arm exercises with a resistance band, and then some pretty hardcore ab workouts. It's an hour long class, and I'd rather not over/underestimate by too much.

Ideas anyone? Some of his moves are similar to what Jillian Michaels does in Burn Fat Boost Metabolism, and when I searched that people suggested recording it as high impact aerobics.

Thanks

That's exactly how I would track it... High Impact Aerobics.

yeh i would log it as high impact areobics or circuit training... but better yet if you have a HRM then you will have a more accurate number

I record JM 30 day shred as circuit training b/c of the intervals. You could record it in sections by min.....calesthenics for abs # min, hi impact aerobics # min, etc.
