I hate Holidays!

If you are single like me, and your family has all scattered to other states, holidays can really bite. So even though I had plenty of time to be active, I also had a bit of a pity-party in the kitchen. It was a chance to make progress and I blew it.
Someone sent a photo with me in it today, and even though I'm a pretty down-to-earth girl, I realized it is time for a make-over! This afternoon I went in and had a fresh lesson on make-up and left the salon feeling beautiful. NSV? It was way better than a hot-fudge sundae.
So, survived another one. I still hate holidays. Anyone relate?

I hate holidays because of the fact that we Americans seem to only know how to celebrate by binge eating for an entire day! It makes me sad to have been a participant. I'm still struggling to get back on track today.0
