I had a bad week this week with regards to the scales as I have had some serious sleep issues or lack there of, with 2 days of about 4 hours and a day with just an hour which meant my weight went up significantly, on the plus side it is now back down to just above what I weighed in last week at. THe other plus is I seem to have lost another 1.5 inches from around my waist now registering at about 32.5 down from an original 47 when I lost the first chunk of weight several years ago.

Oops! Well I'm sure I'll lose it this week, I just got off a plane and I'm on my period so I'm sure the 4 pound gain is mostly water. I also had copious amounts of alcohol last week during the reunion, but it could have been worse, I kept up with my water and I'm sure to shed it all soon.
I know Stephanie has stuff going on next week so I was going to get our next challenge started. Our "Personal Independence Day Challenge" :happy: look for the link to it soon! The 4th falls on a Monday so when our Memorial day challenge ends on the 29th we'll go ahead and start the next challenge on Monday the 30th and we'll have 5 full weeks to get to our mini goals. I know lots of peeps including myself hate to weigh in on Mondays because we tend to "cheat" on the weekends but perhaps this will help you be accountable all 7 days of the week? Coolio! Didn't quite reach my goal, only 3.1 pounds lost in the 5 weeks, so not a stellar performance. I've had an incredibly hectic work schedule plus being out of town on vacation set me back a bit. I weighed myself early yesterday and there was no change, but when I weighed this morning I was a pound down!! Yay! At least I lost one pound on this challenge! I am doing much better the last week or so, so I believe that the Independence Day challenge will be much better. Good job everyone!!0 -

Woo Hoo! Well I'm 3lbs short of this goal but I still lost 13 pounds this challenge with a weeks vacation smack dab in the middle of it! I'm glad to know that it only takes a week or so to get back to where I started when I take vacations. I mean before I'd be so discouraged that I got off track in the first place that it would take months to get back to where I started. Sometimes years! So I really feel like this challenge was a big success, in more ways than one!

I am nowhere near my goal, but the past 5 weeks sucked! I was sick, had cortisone shots in my back, work stress...and I had been losing the same 5 lbs for the past 3 months! I finally broke through it though! I feel better, more motivated...and despite being 14lbs away from the goal I had set for myself, I feel successful! I hope we have another challenge...maybe one that goes to July 4th (my 26th birthday)?!0 -
I stayed the same this week at 196.0. I am ok with it though i have lost 40 pounds already and feel so much better !0

April was a bad eating month full of birthdays and Easter so I feel like I'm not making the progress that I should, scale went backwards - still trying to work off the weight I regained.

Frustrated that I keep yoyo-ing the same few pounds up and down. Was up to 174.5 the day after Easter. Again I hit 174 the day before Memorial day. I'm hating this.
I'm HUNGRY all the time and no matter how hard I try to do good I end up going over calories because I have insomnia and can't sleep and can't ignore my growling belly in the odd hours of late night/early morning when I should be sleeping.0 -

Well I didn't make my goal but I am definitely satisfied I am really close to "normal" BMI so just glad to see the scale is still moving in the right direction even though a little slower than when I started in January.
