Hi everyone, I just started my journey today and I'm hoping to make friends with people around the same height and weight as me, but also anyone else of course! It always helps to see what works and what doesn't work for other people with the same shape! I've always been athletic, so exercise and healthy eating is not new to me - which is probably why I have recently been having a hard time budging my weight even by a few pounds. I've just started personal training for the first time ever today, and am hoping to get some motivation and support from this site as well!

  • I have the exact same problem. I play college volleyball, so eating well and exercise is a must, but I'm having a lot of trouble with losing anymore lately. I'm 5'9 188 pounds at the moment. I think it would be great to trade success secrets.

I am 5'9 and used to weight 174 in 2007. I am currently down to 130-135 (I fluctuate a lot)! lol My weight loss started when I was deployed. During that deployment I started woring out and learning the healthy weigh to eat. I have continued the healthy way of living and have lost more and now maintaining it. Actually I want to get to125....but have been told by my nutritionist that is to low for me. I will admit, I am obssesed with eating healhty and fitness...sometime a little to much. I struggle now with getting the caliries I need. I try to meat my 1200 a day calorie goal but its hard, and then when I work out it makes it even harder for me to meet them.
