So I was wondering, and this may be a stupid question, but you know how hard workouts make microscopic tears in your muscles? So lets say I burn 100 calories (according to mfp) "tearing" my muscles from strength training. The next day I'm sore all over and now my body needs energy to repair these muscles. Does that mean I'm using more energy in addition to the 100 cals? Or does the caloric burn account for tearing + repairing?
Thanks
Thanks

Never heard or read about it. Sorry. You never know though. Maybe? Just do some research.
Even then, we'll never know for sure. Our bodies are unbelievably complex. It makes sense to me, but whether it does or not makes no difference in my day. It'd be a bonus that I'll take for granted.
