Close to goal thread?

Is there a thread/check-in for people who are close to their goal? I've been loose with diet and exercise lately and the scale is starting to show it. Plus, summer is almost here and I'd love to feel confident and swim suit ready.
I didn't see a group for this already, but I may have missed it.

I love the idea of this support group!! I also think that being close to goal presents unique challenges and it would be great to support one another on things like, making the maintenance transition, not losing lean muscle while losing the last bit, body toning and composition changes, etc.

Ate too much and no workout yesterday. Have my turbo kick class tonight. It's my last night teaching, which is bittersweet.

Turbo Kick class for me tonight. Forgot to wear my HRM, so don't know actually calorie burn. Probably no workout tomorrow, but may hit up a zumba class Friday after work.

Hi Carol,
I like this thread.....as I need some motivation to keep after it.
I am bouncing between 135-140, and would like to bounce between 130-135 :ohwell:
I got to 135 earlier this month.....and then Easter hit.....and today, while good in many ways, wasn't a good diet day at all. Oh well, back at it tomorrow, I hope....the rest of this week, I will be out of my routine, so will have to see how that goes.

This sounds like me. I was actually in a maintenance thread back in the fall but have gained about 5 pounds and cannot get it back off so finally dropped off the thread. I am between 128-130 right now but want to be about 123-125. I am getting back into logging daily and keeping accountable to staying within my limits. Great thread!0

So glad people are in this same spot with me. I think we can be great support for each other!
Kath - I was at a maintenance weight and gained about 5 pounds, too. It's been tough for me to see how my choices lately affected my weight.
Kaye - I'm feeling the difference Easter made for me, too. Time to regroup!

Hey everyone,
I just searched for a thread like this one. I have 5 - 7 pounds to lose... which I have gained in the last 6 months. My clothes are not fitting well and I feel better when I am back at my lower weight.
I have started logging all my food intake but I think i need to to kick up the exercise to more intense work outs.
I am looking forward to support here on the site and ideas from others who are in the same spot.
I actually watched the Insanity informercial this am and have been tempted to purchase... just something to rev up my exercise.

Oh my.....I need the proverbial "kick in the pants." I've had a busy week, and it's been cruddy weather, and so I've really slacked off on walking this week. My diet hasn't been too bad.....and I've pretty much maintained....but boy, I'd like to lose 5-7 pounds and KEEP it off. Was there once this month (at the top end of where I want to be), so I know I can do it.
Hope you all get off to a good start in May.....will be a difficult month with lots of graduations and parties to go to.

Why is it so hard to stay in my calories on Fridays and Saturdays? Do good all week and then have pizza and Chinese over the weekend. Aarggh! LOL0

i have 5.5lb to go until I reach my goal, but it is getting sooooo hard to stay motivated. I am still logging all of my calories and I am exercising most days, but weekends are my worst enermy........wine and pizza!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
