Increasing Endurance

I'm needing to increase my endurance so I can run longer distances but not sure of the best way to train to do this. Any suggestions?

    My friend found a great app for smart phones called Couch to 5k. It lets you play your music and will instruct you to walk and run. And it slowly builds you up. Just started it myself.

    If you are an experienced runner, HIIT is an awesome way to increase endurance. I'd recommend interval training to start out, maybe hills and then pick up the intensity with interval training.

    My buddy downloaded a great c25k app for his iPhone. Loves it. And I see a lot of people having success with it.
