Question about Net Calories

I had about 800 net calories before I had an egg sandwich. I had about 400 calories left before I got to 1200 net calories. My sandwich was 425 calories. So that would mean that I went over my calories by a few. Can someone tell me how my net calories came to 1409 when I had 400 left to get to 1200 net and my sandwich was 425 calories? This is beyond frustrating to me to try to figure this out!

You earned 396 calories from exercise. The diary adds that to your net goal.0

when you log exercise, your goal calories increase based on your calories burned...
from your diary I can see that 396 calories were added based on your exercise0 -
Are you talking about yesterday's diary(Monday)?
It looks spot on to me - 9 calories in the red (which is nothing!), exercise, real food.
Don't sweat the details, just keep up the good work!0 -
I know that but they are saying that my 425 calorie sandwich was was really 600 calories then. I just don't get it.0

Yes but what I'm not understaning is before my 425 calorie sandwich my net was 800...so I had 400 left until a net of 1200. I went over by 9 calories. Not a big deal but where did the extra 200 net calories come from...I know I did not eat them... but they are saying that I did.0 -

No. If you add up all the food down to and including the oats (just above the sandwich) it comes to 1280. Add in the sandwich (I'm assuming the eggs, bread and butter ) and you get 1805.0 -
If you didn't need the butter to be added on the sandwich, subtract 200, for a total of 1605.0

Ok...let me try and explain this one more time. I'm talking about NET calories....it said that I had 400 NET calories left before I hit my 1200 NET calories. Since when does 800 NET plus 400 NET equal 1409 NET???0 -

We answered that a couple times. You had nearly 400 calories added to your basic NET to bring you up to where you were before you added the sandwich. Open your calculator and manually add them up and you will see.
Good luck.0
