It is anywhere from 4.09(this is the lowest price for cars) to about 4.30 depending on which station. Can you say RIPE OFF!!!!

When the weather starts to dry out here, I plan on riding my bike to work.....not too bad of a ride. I also have been spending a lot more time on gasbuddy, including adding the app to my phone so I can get the best price when fuel is needed.

Its $3.65 here. I do 99% of my shopping at Kroger to get the fuel points. I also get all my prescriptions there for the fuel points. Im a SAHM so that helps but my hubby goes 27 miles 1 way to work. We typically fill it on the weekend and spend $35-40.

Im really starting to get nervous becuz we're planning a vacation back home in September but if gas prices get worse, we won't be able to afford it as its 911 miles 1 way.

It's $3.79 here. Luckily I work out of my own home office for a large corporation, so my car is parked in the driveway every day. My husband's job is only a mile from home. I don't know how people with a long commute afford to drive to work everyday.

I just got gas yesterday at $3.64 per gallon, but it all depends on which station and town you go to here. I'm a SAHM, so the only driving I do is to the store/errands. However, my husband drives 100 miles per day for work (50 miles each way). He has to get gas every 2-3 days and the rising gas prices are really hurting.

In England, there are car sharing websites. Is there anything like that in the US? Is there anyone at work you could share lifts to work with, one drive one week, and one drive the other? Even someone going to the same town as you for work?

pornos start that way to you know.......
  • Isn't it sad that we have to cut out things like going to see our families? I haven't gone to see my parents because of gas prices either!

Yes, my mother lives only an hour away, but a trip there and back is a quarter tank of gas, and that's what I use in a day's commute to work as well. My grandparents live about three hours and seven hours away respectively, and with the condition of my vehicle and the gas prices, I can't see them as much as I would like to. Last time I went to see them, I rented a car for my security, but it didn't really help with my wallet.

I'm starting to wonder if the fuel points thing is worth it because everything is SO much more expensive at Kroger than it is anywhere else. I still shop there because it's the closest to my house and I like to be able to say I can save 10 cents a gallon, but that's just really saving $1.20 per tank of gas when I'm paying a crazy markup on all their food and drugstore items.

Prescriptions though, I can understand a lot more than food because fill 2 and you get your reward, right? We don't typically have any prescription drugs though, so we do not have the opportunity to use it.
