Well the kids go back to school on Monday. This means summer is coming to an end. :frown:

As I was making my breakfast and getting ready to eat my scrambled eggs and yummy berries. I was thinking of how much I love summer and the reasons why :bigsmile:
In no particular order....:tongue:

1. Fresh berries. I'm eating them right now YUM! YUM! :bigsmile:
2. Fresh garden veggies.
3. Farmers markets.
4. Hanging out by the pool and the trips to the water parks with the kiddies.
5. Warm summer nights, sitting on the back patio drinking a beer with my hubby.
6. Heading to the coast to ride bikes and taking amazing hikes with my honey.
7. Walking my puppies on a cool summer morning.
8. The sun on my face and how good it makes me feel.
9. Having a bronzed body :tongue:

I'm going to miss summer!

    I love that it's not winter! :laugh:

    My hubby is a skiing FREAK(!) and I could live w/out it. Summer means not having to come up with another reason not to go ski. :embarassed:

    I did not get to enjoy this summer. I only had one lake trip so far and will only have one more before it ends. Didn't log my usual pool hours. Didn't do any of my favorite summer activities.

    I love that it's not winter! :laugh:

    Here in Northern MI, we have four full season; Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter... and Road Construction! :laugh: But yeah, we live on the Big Waters, so Summer is the time to be here, in our corner of the planet. Going for a dip with my hunny bunny, paddling with friends, a nice beach fire at the end of the day, seeing the flowers in bloom, mowing the lawn, enjoying the beautiful sunsets....

    I'm so upset about summer ending I could literally start bawling right now!:sad:

    My lil one started 3rd grade yesterday...so now it's almost official.

    The things I love about summer

    1) lazy days and warm nights
    2) catching fireflies with my son
    3) the tan I get for free
    4) sunshine on my face
    5) grilling out and hanging with my family & friends
    6) my pool
    7) playing outside/camping/fishing
    8) my outlook is a happier
    9) hot dogs and hamburgers taste so much better
    10) Oh sweet watermelon
    11) Shorts!

    *sigh

    On a good note, I won't have to mow my yard every other day.

    Here in AZ the good times are just starting. 8 months of awesome weather, 4 months of hell on earth! Cant wait for "summer" to end so I can go outside again.

    ps - yes, I WILL be rubbing it in this winter! :tongue: :bigsmile:

    GOOD ONES!!!! Man I will miss my shorts! Oh wait I still wear them to the gym in the cold winter LOL!

    Yup....shorts to the gym in the dead of winter here too. Oh the looks we must get. LOL!
