Greetings all!
I have been a MFP enthusiast for about 9 months now. A few months back I was slightly disgusted by all of the negative friend vibes and found it easier to delete my account than to try and weed out the bad apples. I just want to surround myself with people who want to share their journey and not get in pissing matches over who is right or not.
Anyways -- Im a 5 year old runner in a 31 year old body. I love the act of totally nerding out and learning new things about diet and nutrition. I also love anyone that is enthusiastic and isnt afraid to laugh at themselves (or me for that matter - I am full of bad jokes).
Lets share joggie-times!!

Welcome back to MFP, and feel free to add me as a friend.
I'm not a die-hard runner, but I'm finishing up the Runners World beginning runner program, and hope to run my first 5K in June sometime. Then there is that "Run For Your Lives" 5K where you run from zombies in October.
I won't bore you with being right all the time. Just take a look at my profile saying - "Have a good time, ALL the time!"0 -
I'm a beginning runner, so I'd love to be able to pick your brain when I have questions!
Welcome back!!
P.S. WHERE is that zombie run? Sounds hilarious and awesome!0 -
Wow! Is that Zombie Run the one in Maryland? I think I might be doing that as well! Happy Training!0

I am also a runner returning to MFP! Unfortunately, I have sprained my ankle, so my primary forms of maintenance (running and hiking) have been forbidden! So I'm back on MFP to stop & reverse my backslide during healing.
I LOVE BAD JOKES!! A tomato and a lettuce had a race. The lettuce was a head, and the tomato had to ketchup.
And is this Zombie Run moving west? I'd LOVE to see it come to Colorado!!0 -
I am a newish runner.
I say newish because I have been treadmill running for a longtime and am now 5 weeks into outdoor running. Really loving it so far. Its a great addition to my fitness routine.0 -
There's a zombie run in Maryland?!? When and where, I am sooooo doing that!0
