I used MyFitnessPal when I first started my journey to a healthy weight/lifestyle in Nov '08. (For those of you that are actually new to the site, I encourage you to stick with it and log consistently, because IT WORKS!!) I stopped tracking last December because I felt very comfortable at 150lbs, despite my goal of 145lbs. I crept back up a little to 153lbs, but again, I felt comfortable there and could easily maintain it, so I didn't worry about. Then...
...DISASTER!! I sprained my ankle at the beginning of March! :frown: Despite my <strikeout>best</strikeout> <strikeout>mediocre</strikeout> non-existent efforts to maintain 153lbs, I've been creeping back up and am now at 159lbs. Not a terrible backslide, but since my ankle still has a few more weeks' rest due, I decided to come back to MyFitnessPal so that I could put a stop to it before it became a real problem like in Fall '08.
So here I am, in all my injured glory! Last night, I did JM 30 Day Shred with some modifications for my sprained ankle. (I'll probably post that as another topic later, since I know lots of people look for stuff to do during injuries!) My ankle was a little swollen and sore afterwards, so I might have to make yet more modifications, or just go get a Sit & Fit DVD from the library. :ohwell:
I love meeting new people, even if only online, so feel free to friend me for support! :flowerforyou: We can all be healthy together! :drinker:
