Hello everyone. I am 26 years old and joined MFP in hopes of losing 95-100 lbs. I really let myself go after high school and managed to somehow gain 90 lbs. However, I just graduated nursing school and realized if I don't change my habits I will be on the receiving end of nursing care a lot sooner than I should be. I also would like to lose the weight so I can be healthy for my son, who will be four next month. I just want to be healthy, feel good about myself, and play wit my son without becoming winded. With the support of my husband, friends, family, and everyone here I am hoping that I can finally be successful with changing my life for the better. Looking forward to get to know everyone here!

    WELCOME!!!

My first wake up call also came when I graduated nursing school. My 2nd one came as I took care of my mother in hospice and she died as a direct result of poor lifestyle choices.

So - welcome to you!! You CAN do this!!!!!
