OK, I'm at a loss. I have lost ten pounds on my diet so far, but i cant seem to lose anymore! It might be that i lose one more pound but then i gain it right back, even though i am working out and stregth training. I try to stay away from salt and fatty foods. Can anyone give me a little bit of advice?

Give it time!!!!! If you're new to exercising and weight/strength training, you will gain muscle! This will cause your weight to go up. Focus more on measurements (Chest, Bust, Waist *natural waist and around your belly button, Hips, Thighs, Calves, Arms, Neck) or get a body fat measurement done. Then focus on getting your fat percentage to a healthy level.
  • how's your water intake?

Hard to say. Make your food diary public so other people can review. Could be water retention, muscle gain, or just breaking even for the day on calories.

I can't see your diary but a common problem is not eating enough calories (your net should be at least 1200). You might also want to check your measurements to see if you are toning up.

The same thing happened to me and I was stuck with no weight loss or gain for a whole month even though I upped my workouts and lowered my calorie intake. What I did was stopp stressing, you'd be suprised how much our body holds onto physically when we take and emotional turn, drink LOTS of water it helps flush out your system and try focusing on your inches instead of the scale, you may be the same weight but that could be because your burning fat and replacing it with muscle mass instead.

Hope this helps and great job on the 10 pounds you've lost so far.

I thought this was going to be about Quasimodo.

I don't know much about fitness or, well, really anything, but I suspect that a bunch of clever people are about to look at your diary and make helpful suggestions. They may also suggest you change up your workout routine.

Try changing up your workout routine.
The body is amazing and it will adapt to the same routine overtime.
I try to change up every 4 to six weeks.
Also make sure you keep your metabolism up by avoiding the "starvation" mode.
