Body by Jake - Door Gym

Does anyone have this? My husband would like to get it but we are trying to figure out what door to attach it to. Can you put it on the door and the door still shut all the way? I know I have some over the door hooks and they cause the door to not shut all the way. I know what door I'd love to attach the Jake Gym too but not if it won't close all the way.

What about a door that leads outside would that work? We have a side door in our living room we never use but it has to remain shut.
