starting AGAIN

Hello all,

It's amazing the technology available to us now. I use to write down my calories, etc., (until I blew it and over ate and lost track of my calories) and now it's here at the tips of our fingers...very cool.

My goal is to lose 15 lbs. I use to smoke and have been smokefree for almost 2 yrs....2yrs and 15 lbs later :( I'm not trying to become a super model, my goal is to simply overcome by bad eating habits, inability to control my portions (my intake of sweets) and become a healthy person. I would say I eat very well. Breakfast, lunch, snacks...my family and friends would say I eat very healthy...til I get home, have dinner, and then it's all over....and forget about portion control..."uh, yes, I'll have the ENTIRE bag of jelly beans"...

Well, I believe in 1 Cor 10:13..."No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endire it." That verse can be used to refer to various things....and for the moment I'm leaning on that verse for support and this forum.
