I'm a novice, I'm up to 8 miles. Any tips on how I can minimize numbness in my fingers? I could go much further if I didn't have this happening...

Not sure what kind of bike you have but if you have a mountain type style of bike w/ just the one bar across you could add climbing bars to the ends that can help you switch up hand posture.0
