those who have had some success--ups and downs?

for those of you who have lost a good number of pounds, did you have a lot of fluctuation in your weight? my weight will usually go up and down within 2 or 3 lbs for a few weeks before going down for good, but this past week, my weight has gone up 4-5 lbs even though by my net calories, i should have lost 1 lb. I started 8 or 9 weeks ago, tracking what i eat and exercising 30-50 minutes per day and i was down 11 lbs but now just 6 or 7. i'm just feeling really sad 
i lost 35 lbs before i had 2 kids and now i need to lose about twice that. it took me a year to lose the 35 lbs and i am trying to be patient and just be happy with losing 50 lbs in 50 weeks but struggling this week.

I have lost over 70 pounds and my weight still fluctuates like this from week to week. I try to do an official weigh-in on Saturday mornings and use that to measure my weight loss from week to week. There is usually one week out of the month when my weight is always higher, regardless of how well I've eaten and how much I've worked out. Don't get discouraged! You've done great so far!0

my official weigh in day is thursday so we'll see what it is in a couple of days!
right now i feel like i've gone back in time 3 weeks. so weird since i've just been doing better and better as i get used to eating the right amount of food.
