I love shark steak. I grilled mine. You could either marinate it with like some low sodium Worcestershire, or I just put lemon pepper, cayenne, garlic and onion powder on mine with some evoo!

Wow, that's a topic you don't see everyday!

I've only had shark sashimi...or seared ones...if it's really fresh, I think it tastes the best when it's 'less' prepared. But if it's not fresh, grill it like a tuna steak!

Mix some lemon juice, capers, dill, and some I Can't Believe It's not Butter (melted), and some dill.
Brush on fish and grill. Brush on more while grilling.
Cook to how every you like it done. I prefer medium, like my tuna steaks.

The marinade in this recipe won't overpower the flavor of the shark. Shark has a great flavor and you want to get the most out of it you can.
    Prep Time: 10 minutes

    Cook Time: 15 minutes

    Total Time: 25 minutes

    Yield: Serves 6

    Ingredients:

    6 shark steaks
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/4 cup ketchup
    1/2 cup orange juice
    1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
    2 tablespoon lemon juice
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/3 tablespoon ground pepper

    Preparation:

Combine soy sauce, orange juice, ketchup, chopped parsley, lemon juice, pepper, and minced garlic. Place fish in a shallow baking dish and pour marinade over them. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for 2 hours. Remove fish from marinade, reserving marinade. Grill fish over hot coals 6 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, basting frequently with remaining marinade.
