I was just playing on itunes and found one of my favorite running songs on there. It's alternative so you'd have to like that, but it's

happy song by janitor bob and the arm chair cowboys. It has a really good mellow running beat. I like to start off with that one just to set my pace. (they're from sioux falls, SD - my hubby's home town)

Another fun midwest band is the gear daddies and there are finally on there too. (from Austin, MN
