Another long time married chiming in.

I recommend you make a list, let it sit a week or so, reevaluate and then put it away for awhile after any corrections.

After a relationship I though was "the one" ended disastrously...(I thought he was the one, to him I was one of many...) I took some time to myself.

I made a list of the perfect man on a piece of paper and stuck it in an envelope and sealed it.

A year later I met my husband. He fit everything on the list...he's a good man .

Twelve years later I'm thinking I should have made the list twice as long:laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Its actually kinda scary...I just got dumped by someone because they weren't done with there last man. I mean, like, a month ago almost! They weren't married, but close enough. I can definitely relate. Spent a lot of time doing that! The bad thing is, I knew I shouldn't do it and so did she, but when you are drawn to someone like that...logic kinda takes a back seat to emotions. Fools rush in, and get STOMPED on! :laugh: Still, it was worth it...being with someone special again, even for just a short time.
