What about Monty Python?? I also love Caddy Shack as well as any of the Mel Brooks films. Some great choices listed already.

I can't believe I forgot that! I always list Holy Grail as one of my all time favorite movies! Good call on the Python. (I even used to have a cat named Monty Python!)

Strips - The version that adds back in the cut scenes. Too funny – It explains a lot about when they go off base.

I think The Holy Grail is the funniest movie ever made. I don't think anything else even comes close. I've probably seen it 30 times or so, and there are still parts that make me laugh until I feel like my spine is bumping against my sternum and I'm going to suffocate.

Whenever questions like these come up, my mind goes blank, and I can't think of anything. So I looked to your lists for inspiration.

I love the cheesiness of The Princess Bride.
I like all the Madea movies, though I like the plays better.
Napoleon Dynomite, you have to watch it at least 2 times before it seems funny.
I have never seen the Monty Python movies, but I suspect I would love them.
I love the Mr. Bean sitcom, but the movie wasn't worth watching.
I love most movies with Steve Martin. Though my husband can't stand him.

I can't think of any recent comedy that was good enough to include.
