I weighed myself yesterday morning and it said I was 212. I weighed myself last night and it said I was 222.

Is that even physically possible (considering I was 214 the last time I weighed)?!?

  • Your weight can fluctuate up to 10 pounds in a day. You've weighed yourself after putting on water weight and eating 3 meals a day plus whatever else, so it's nowhere near being accurate.

it's possible, consider checking the amount of sodium you had throughout the day, you will always weigh more @ night time as you've been eating/drinking all day, versus first thing in the morning, when you body has had a chance to digest everything. Really you should only weight once a day at the same time if you going to weight yourself daily... otherwise weekly or monthly.

As well after a lot of sodium you weight willl fluctuate greatly, I weighed 274 Sat morning, drank a whole bottle of liquor and was 273 Sunday morning, Monday morning I shot up to 278!

Extremely doubtful, though I have heard of people weighing about 6-7 pounds more at night as opposed to in the morning. Your weight fluctuates throughout the day so I suppose it's possible.

No. My scale does the same thing> I weigh one time and I am 188 then the next morning I am 198! Whatever! I think we both need new scales! My hubby said he is bringing me one home tonight! We will see..last time I priced them, they were quite expensive!

you should only use the one from the morning and the same time every time... that is most accurate

ALSO if it is digital, the battery could be going dead as well... mine usually says way way under when it is dying though.. like 70 pounds total or something stupid lol

TEN POUNDS? Really? That doesn't seem likely. Maybe in a week or two, depending upon your eating habits. Wow. I think I'd get a new scale!

I think the sodium + water weight might be the key.

I had Olive Garden and a LOT of sodium this weekend/week. So that might be it. :/ I will weigh again tomorrow morning and see what it says. Hopefully I can flush my system.

I had my wedding dress alteration appt. yesterday and my dress didn't even fit! And I've lost almost 14lbs since I bought it. So I was VERY upset. lol Now I know why.

Yep, it's digital. I just bought it about a month ago. Would it need batteries that soon?

Of course, I'm just trying to blame everything on the scale. LOL I hope that it's not actually my true weight.
