Brand new to dieting

Hi all, I'm really new. I've never dieted before so I am completely new at this. I've set myself a target of 1lb a week to start with but I am hoping to beat that. My current plan is to not change my diet too much but up the exercise. Any help or support would be great.

    Well, if you follow the advice found in the message boards, exercise and eat the right foods to come close to your calorie goals, im sure you will lose.
