18 days SOS~

Help guys! I have 18 days till my first half marathon. Got my gu, my glide stick, but I am nervous about it. I am actually having nightmares. I hurt my knee on one of my long runs last week. I can't get past 7.25. I have been taking it easy this week. Saturday I am going to do 10 and then just 2-3 miles every other day till the race.
I am nervous, scared, and excited all at the same time!
What do you guys think? Any tips? Advice? Morning meals of race day? SOS!

    That happened to me when I did my first half marathon. I tore a ligament in my knee. I pretty much did what you are doing. I ran a long distance about a week and a half before and only ran about 2-3 miles every other day until the actual race. As for breakfast I just ate a banana and protein bar. Get a good night sleep before. I had a wedding the day before mine and was a little sleepy until mile 3!

    If you can do 10 miles your excitement and energy will carry you the last couple of miles! Good Luck :happy:

    You will do great...!! I do my first half this coming Sunday and I'm just like you excited yet nervous at the same time.

    That is what I was going to say... I've only run one 5K so far, but I was so pumped by the energy of the crowd, I ran longer than I ever have on my own. I'm sure you'll have no problem finishing your half marathon. You have been training for a long time - I'm sure you'll do great!!
