Ok, MFP community, I'm a smoker, and I've recently decided to quit. I'm wondering if there are any other smokers out there who are trying to quit, or any former smokers who can give me tips on how to get through my cravings!

I quit an almost two pack a day habit in Jan. Had talked about quitting for sometime. Found this site and was entering my food intake and trying to eat healthier. It just clicked. How stupid am I, sitting here entering all this, and puffing away on the cancer sticks. Haven't smoked since. My advice, stay busy and chew a heck of alot of gum. Make youself tough it out for the first two weeks, then you'll have it licked. Good luck. You and your body will be so happy you did it.0

I have heard hypnotism works well for it. I quit cold turkey once, once I used Zyban but it made me very lazy .. I have started and stopped a lot of times in my life and I'm really not sure what the best way is.0
