Spoke with a personal trainer, and I was told I may not be eating enough calories. I've been doing a bit of research lately. Losing weight is a science. I was told that the generic 1200 - 1500 calories per day is not for everyone. Follow a diet with such a low caloric intake + excerising (burning 600 calorie - thanks Zumba) can put my body into starvation mode. Uggh - putting on the weight was not that difficult!!!!

*You need to find your BMR
*Figure out the amount of calories to maintain your current weight
*Decrease the number by 20 - 35% (this will be the calorie deficit needed to lose weight)

The confusing part is the deficit should be diet and/or exercise.

So this week, I am trying a new strategy!
