Bed time fuel?

So I know I should eat slow digesting protein like cottage before bed time.
My question is how much should I eat, and how long before I go to bed?
Also what else but cottage can I eat?
Whey protein mix with water? etc....?

    I always carb load before I go to bed. A glass of chocolate milk and a slice or two of wheat bread.

    Works for me, I always have energy for my workouts in the morning. Sometimes I'll take a protein shake but very rarely.

    And I didn't answer you question, hmmm.

    Casein protein is the slowest of the proteins to digest. It's a myth you should never eat before you go to bed. Well, some studies show eating fatty foods will slow down your digestive process.

    So find what works for you. That's all anybody can really say.
