Go and talk to some Tattooists, find some styles you like and get them to do up something for you. Think about what you want and what you want it to say about you. It's a big call. I've got a few and love them all!0

I kinda know what I want. I just...idk don't know how to put it all together I guess haha0

I've done a lot of my own drawings in the past but I've found that you can get a much better aspect if you find a tattooist you like and work with them to get down to what you want. It will help build the excitement for getting it. It really is an investement and something you shouldn't skimp on or just pick off a wall...
Thats what I think any way0 -

You should really talk to a tattoo artist and tell them your idea. They can then draw something up for you and you can discuss any changes that you feel need to be made. You may be suprised though, if you find a good artist there probably may not be much to change.0 -
I'm with you there!0

I would definitely talk to a tattoo artist and see what they recommend, but since you are looking for help here, I am an interior design student, and I have taken a few drawing, graphic design, basic design classes, maybe I could help?0

I suggest going down to your local tattoo shop (or where ever you want your tattoo done) and having a consult with an artist. Bring in any pictures you might have that could be useful.0

I agree with everyone about finding a tattoo artist to talk with about your ideas. Most of my ink started out as images in my head and my artist helped me get the design on paper, tweak it, and make the final product even better than I'd hoped.
If you go this route, you should expect to have to wait a bit for the design to be sketched out and perfected (an hour, next day, a week? Depends on the artist). You likely won't be able to get it done the same day, unlike if you choose flash art. The delay is worth it.0
