Is it better.....

Is it better to take a longer slower walk, or a faster shorter walk. My treadmill gives me more calories burnt for a longer, little bit slower walk. But I feel like I'm getting a better work out, meaning I work into a sweat and my heart rate goes up higher, if I take a faster shorter walk.

Believe it or not, calorie wise it is almost exactly the same if you travel the same distance.
I'd mix it up. Working out with more intensity helps with your fitness and walking longer helps your enduarance, so there are benefits to both. And if you mix them up in one work out, it's interval training which is also great!0
