    Another good thing about outside is than when you get chased by dogs you learn to run fast.

    That is the best attitude to have. Get out there and just do it. Yeah on the C25K it might set you back a week or so but if you have done 25 minutes straight already tells me your in the 6 or 7th week if I remember. Before long you will be doing a 10K outside.

    Teach yourself to run outside!

    It is tough but definitely worth the struggle. I did the couch to 5k challenge. I can now jog a nice two-three miles 2-3 times a week. Plus, running outside will get you to use muscles you never needed to use while on a treadmill.

    I can't stand jogging on a treadmill now. It's such a bore!
