Lent, Continued

Options
Why is it that Lent is the only time we are able to give things up?

This past Lent, I gave up chocolate and let me tell you what, it wasn't as hard as you would think. Sure the initial shock of it was difficult at first, but once I finally got past it, I really didn't miss chocolate at all.

I think it may be a good idea to do a fast with certain foods all year long. After the fast, you may find that you don't really need that certain food anymore. My new goal is to stay away from all fried foods until the beginning of summer, June 21st. Including, french fries, fried chicken, hot wings, etc. Not only is this an extremely healthy goal, but I think it may help me stay away from fried foods for good!

Who wants to join me in this adventure?!

I would say yes.... But most of my life revolves around fried food and chocolate...
Maybe one day i'l be strong anoth to give it up...
But i mean i haven't had a cigarette for 2 years and i still desperately need one all the time!
    Including right now!
I think im going to work on getting that out of my system before i move onto the next unhealthy thing in my life...
