"Breaking Free from Emotional Eating", Geneen Roth? Also wrote "Women Food and God", anyone read it? Interested in what people thought of them. She makes some good points but I also find it hard to believe that I could let go of all those feelings and thoughts, and be free to eat what I want and to lose weight. I think she is spot on about binge eating, denying yourself and getting trapped in horrid cycles. Anyone else?

I had wanted to check out "Women Food and God" but I am just now finishing up "Made to Crave" by Lysa TerKeurst which has been fabulous. I feel like it would be very similar so I haven't gotten Geneen Roth's book yet. I highly recommend "Made to Crave" though. It was one of the things that gave me the little push to start taking my weight loss seriously!0

I just searched her name...is she a psychologist? A dietitian? On her "info" page she doesn't say anything about any credentials. I know a lot of people have self help books, but I'm always leary unless it comes from somene who has had some training.
Good luck!0
