I am starting this for folks like me who cant do long challenges... my attention Span just is NOT that long....
Need to take baby steps....
THE GROUP IS OPEN AND ANYONE SUPPORTIVE AND/OR LOOKING FOR SUPPORT IS WELCOME....The only requirement is that you have the goal of trying to do the best that you can do for the Month of May 2011....
-my nutritional goal is to stay under 1200 net calories for all 31 days.....
- my fitness goal is to do 1 hour of challenging exercise for 26 out of the 31 days....
-my weight goal is to be minus 10 pounds...

I like the way you think! Sometimes its best to think in terms of small goals in order to reach end goal. Your goals are also excellent, and too will adopt them as mine.

I'm in I have a short attention span so a month challenge sounds good.
My goals are:
Eat raw foods during the day and have a low fat cooked meal for dinner. No snaking at night unless it's something like pickes, frozen grapes of such. Allow myself a treat on saturday. I will not count calories because that just makes me eat less everyday as if I'm trying to beat the previous day.
Take long walks and get the yard cleaned up and ready for the garden.
Start buying more clothes that makes me feel good.0 -
just checking in with everyone....Im beginning a detox tonight... basically nothing but herbal teas & water for a day.... I feel so YUCKY after splurging for Easter still....
I have a day of yardwork planned so no working out otherwise on Saturday for me... Im sure my body will think I did 8 straight hours of p-90X when Im done.....0 -
days like this I wish I had kept my HRM... Ive been outside working in my yard.... I am NOWHERE NEAR DONE despite my working steadily for 3.5 hours.... I just came in to get my eyes a rest from the sun, drink some fluids & catch my breath.... Looks like I will be out there all day again tomorrow as well.....
I also need to go grocery shopping to prepare my lunches for the week.....I do oatmeal for breakfast everyday...but Im going to make this a NO MEAT AT ALL week... just veggies & beans... My Dr asked what had I been doing differently... for the 1st time in over 6 years I have been taken off iron supplements... WOO HOO!! ( nsv!!)0 -
I guess I am in this challenge alone...
Oh well I just joined a running group in my county and just today began training for my 1st 5K in six weeks.... its SINK or SWIM time!!!0 -
Good luck on the training! Im hoping to do the same. My fitness goals haunt been met because I've been sick ): I'll be back on that soon or maybe today0
