After eight long years, I was finally able to order the "official" Marine Corps League red blazer jacket and it's in a nice little petite size. During all this time, I was having to browse the thrift stores to find jackets that closely resembled the official color and style but, due to my previous fat pounds (everywhere on my tiny body frame), I kept having to get larger and larger sizes. The last one, a size 18, that I was planning to wear to an Eagle Scout Court of Honor two weeks ago was so large that I couldn't even consider wearing it. The next morning, I called and asked about the sizing measurements on the petite sizes. They only had just one jacket in stock and wanted to know if I would like that one. I swallowed the huge lump in my throat, was able to choke out a "yes". I was still uncertain whether or not I was making a huge mistake. The UPS driver just delivered that highly prized jacket. With both hesitancy and anticipation, I opened the package, slipped on the jacket and easily fastened both of the shiny brass buttons. Wow! It is so pretty that it's like a dream come true to be back wearing pretty clothes and looking healthy again.

The "icing on the cake" today was when I received a telephone call from Fitbie.com to complete the final stage of the telephone interviews. Was informed that I'm one of seven "hot mamas" they'll be featuring for Mother's Day. Soon, you'll be able to view all seven of us on their web site at: http://www.fitbie.com.

Stay happy! Stick with your self-designed heart-healthy program, one meal at a time and one day at a time. I still have just a few more muffin-top pounds to lose but those will take the longest and I'm okay with that. I will continue to log every single item that goes in my mouth for the rest of my life and I'll be doing it all here with all of you on My Fitness Pal. I'm very grateful to Mike and Albert Lee for providing the tools on here to help all of us become and remain heart-healthy. All of you who have been so kind, generous and supportive on here are an absolute treasure and I love each and every one of you. You've been right in there supporting me through my down times, even depression and your suggestions, criticisms and "cheers" are always welcome. If you ever need help, have questions or whatever, please do not ever hesitate to contact me. If you would like to add my name to your friends list, please feel free to do so.

Stay happy :flowerforyou:
