I imagine it would involve a combination of eating the right foods, taking the right vitamins and supplements, and training the right way... but what specifically is the right way?

you need good quality protein with the right mix of carbs and healthy fats. you need to take in more than what you burn in iorder to gain muscle. that is the simplistic version.0

Eat piles of protein and lift heavy weights. Repeat often.0

bump... this is a good question that I would like more input on
a friend here told me that using creatine and doing drop setting when you lift is the fastest way to build muscle.0 -
Clean foods to keep fat accumulation as low as possible. Protein about 1-1.5g x bodyweight should be more than enough. Focus on getting progressively stronger whether you're in the 5 rep range or 12 rep range. You give the body the proper stimulus to want to grow, then feed that stimulus, you'll put on more muscle mass.0

You also want to use compound exercises like squats, bent over rows, deadlifts, bench press and overhead press not isolation exercises like curls and the like. The compound exercises will work many muscles and that in turn stimulates greater growth.0

Yep, clean foods, lots of lean protein and lifting heavy weights!! Men have an easier time, b/c of their higher testosterone levels but I've been strength training for almost 4 months now and I cannot believe the difference in my body. Love the muscles!0
