...an exercise video junkie.

Seriously though, I can't visit the library without looking through the exercise videos to see if there is a new one, or one I missed last time. I love to just try them out and see what they are about, cause sometimes I find ones I really love!

I know some people don't like them because they get boring, but I'm the opposite. They keep me focused. Am I the only one?

I think my favorites right now are Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds, Tight on Time with Tamilee Webb, and Jennifer Kries' Pilates Method.

I use a lot of videos myself to workout at home. I like to mix them up. Right now I am into the biggest loser videos and Jillian Michaels. I do mix these up with bellydancing videos and some of the self magazine exercise videos... :flowerforyou:

    I am sooooo GUILTY:blushing:

My favorite is TaeBo (got a 5 disc set), but I enjoy winsor pilates on occassion too. I have a 10 minutes solution pilates dvd that incorporates weights in the routine and is a great workout. This one has 5 separate workouts which target sculpting(arms), buns, abs, flexibility, and pilates burn.

Do you get FitTV? They actually have some good workouts, with commercials though. If I humor myself with one of these, I keep my heart rate up during their "breaks". For me, I need variety. And some of the men are nice to look at and keep me motivated

Olivia - I used to LOVE to do this! When I was in my early 20's, I would rent a different video every few days (and do them a couple times a day to "get my money's worth")... you just reminded me of this time in my life, and it's a GREAT idea (to date myself, I did this when the top rentals were "Cindy Crawford Shape Your Body", "Buns of Steel", and "Kathy Smith"!!!)...

I love the Leslie Sansone Walk at Home Videos.

I have the Four Fast Miles with the firm band and the Walk N Tone with the resistance bands. I also have the one that got me hooked... The 3 Mile Challange.
It is the one videos I have found that don't frustrate me with fancy footwork!!!

I do one everyday and most of time pick different miles from different videos (anything that will add up to an hour of fast walking and strength training

I think she should start paying me though... everytime someone asks how I've lost the weight, I always mention her videos.... there are now 4 people at work who have started them since they have seen the results that I have gotten from them.
  • I know it sounds insane but I'm addicted to the Carmen Electra Strip Tease workout videos...each video is different but I love mixing them up. The second one in the series is called Fit to Strip and it's a hard core total body work out... People always think I'm nuts when I say I love those videos :embarassed:

Sadly we have no TV :frown:

I rely on the library for my favorite shows too

Heh, I'm still not used to being called that! I've only been in IN for about a year and a half now.

Same here!! Some videos I've tried just made me feel so uncoordinated, but I can always keep in time with Leslie and the Gang.
