I am feeling stressed, tired, hungry and mad at everything. I'm proud of the 5 lbs I've lost but I'm done tonight. I am having a Dr Pepper float right now, next I'm gonna have grilled chicken wings my hubby is cooking and then who knows what.......:explode:

We all feel that way from time to time. Strip down naked and look at yourself in the mirror while you eat the wings! I guarantee you that you'll think twice. Good luck!0

I hate to tell you, but you're going to feel worse after you've eaten all that junk, because you can add guilt to your list of emotions. That being said, have half the soda and one wing if you really need to...get some rest instead, and I'm sure you'll feel better soon. Best of luck with your decision.0

Sometimes having a cheat day can be good if it gets it out of your system, but it's imprtant to get back on track as soon as possible, otherwise you'll undo all the work you put into losing those 5 pounds in the first place, and you won't reach your goals if you keep going down the worng road. Next time you feel stressed and emotional, try doing something positive that will help you feel better right then AND long term - go for a walk, take a relaxing bubble bath, do some yoga or stretching, curl up with a good book, etc...0

So basically self loathing promotes weight loss? AWESOME.0 -
When I have those days, I tell myself I can have that food as soon as I walk around my block. My block is 5 miles. On days where I really want that food, I do it, I go for the 5 mile walk and by the time I am back to my house I feel better emotionally and end up not wanting to ruin my day by eating crappy. My other secret weapon on those days, is never buying the "bad" food in the first place to have a cheat day with. Easy to do when I do the shopping, not so easy when the husband does.0
