Feedback on my diary.

For the last month I have been struggling to lose the last couple of kilos to reach my goal. My diary is open and I would love any feedback on my food intake that might help me break through this plateau. I can't really increase my exercise as I have a serious back injury and am already at the upper level of what I'm able to do physically.

if you are having issues losing that last couple of kilos, it is most likely because you are overvaluing your exercise and undervaluing your food intake. try to compensate for that by reporting fewer exercise calories and more food calories.0

Eating 1200 - 1400 stopped my weight loss in it's tracks.
now I am eating 1500 or more each day (some days 2000!) and have lost nearly 2 lbs this week! (that is unheard of for me! )
Try eating more calories each day, your body might feel too hungry to lose any more weight.0 -
Hey- took a quick look....if you are in fact burning 1300 calories at the gym on any day you need far more water which from what I have been told will help to replenish your body's needs. You food looks good....advise on trying to eat more is also good... but you do have high protein items. It is really hard to say but I have found that for myself consuming more water during work outs has really helped! I don't eat all my exercise calories back so I would not tell you to do that but it could also help!!!!
You want to keep the weight off so maybe adjust your goals and start eatting more with your daily in takes!0 -
i dont think there is anything wrong with your diet.
we all hit plateaus. the best thing for you to do, is take about a week break from working out. lower your calories. when you go back to working out, change up the routine. try drinking only water..no teas or any other types..prune juice etc.0 -
Thanks all. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and shift over into my maintenance phase.0

Eat more! I think lowering your calories when you're already only eating 1400 sounds won't help. I was eating that or less for a couple weeks and didn't lose anything but immediately dropped once I upped it.0

That's a good looking diary in terms of the types of food but you are consistently under your calories by quite a lot (the days I looked at were 400 - 600 under).
As you are almost at your goal, I'd suggest gradually increasing calories (keep those healthy choices though) to maintenance then give your body a cfew weeks to see how it reacts. If it seems like too much, you can drop down slowly again.
Well done for doing such a good job when you have an injury, back pain would make it really hard to keep going.0
