Weighing in at 213.5 today- which means I am just 2.5 pounds away from loosing 40 lbs from my initial starting weight- which means 7.5 lbs to go until 40 from the beginning of the challenge!

I maintained this week! I will take it. I was a slacker this week but not a total slacker. I will be ready to hit it hard again on Monday!

I am down 4.4lbs for the week. Although I should be THRILLED about this, I know maintaining that loss will be nearly impossible. Yesterday was the final weigh in for my Biggest Loser competition at work and I had spent all of last week eating extremely low carb, low fat. Basically just lean meat and green vegetables. So, because eating like that is no fun and really not good for you, maintining the loss will be tricky. I am going to focus a little more on exercise this week. Headed out for a run here shortly actually. It's been raining here for about a month and the next 2 days are going to be nice, so outside I go!!

Everyone is doing so well. I am so happy for all of us making positive changes in our lives. Baby steps and a day at a time. I struggle with that one...

I did not win the whole thing... :sad: One of the guys I work with lost like 52 lbs by running a bizillion miles a week... he totally earned it. I think I had the 2nd highest percentage of weight loss. Oh well, it was certainly worth doing. I defintely feel like I am going to need SoMETHING to keep me motivated... This challenge certainly helps but I can already feel less motivated now that the work challenge is over! Yikes!! I am forcing myself to run this week... at least 15 miles.0 -
