My WOW moment

I started this weight loss journey on February 1st as part of a weight loss challenge at work. It was $12 dollars to join for 12 weeks. I won!!!! The grand prize was $250. Now I can buy new clothes for the summer that don't fall off. I lost 23 lbs and have signed up for the next 12 week challenge. I hope I can hit 50 pounds lost at the end of that 12 weeks.

Always surprises me how people, even with the incentive of $250, will fail to lose weight. I've been part of these and most of the participants lose nothing or minimal amounts. There is a disconnect there somewhere.

Some people actually gained weight! I was already motivated the money was just a nice extra.
