a bit confused about net calories/'earned' calories from exe

Hello everyone,
I'm lucky enough that I live within a fair walking distance from work, so I'm able to get 60 minutes of fast pace walking every day. This means of course that I 'earn' quite a lot of calories.
I also cycle at the weekends, walk nearly everywhere and do run as well (though not fast and no far!). I also teach dance one a week.
The thing is, my calorie 'allowance' is 1200 and I aim to eat this, but sometimes eat some of the 'earned' calories too. I don't get hung up on how many, but just ensure I stay under the total.
I had a 'healthy' BMI at the beginning of starting MFP, but had put on quite a bit of weight 'for me' due to medical therapies.
OK, so my question is this; should I be eating all of those calories to lose weight, or should I be trying to leave some of them?
I have lost 11 pounds in the last 5 weeks, which seems ok, but as I go on, I want to remain on this steady loss (I have another 10 pounds to go).
Any help/advice very welcome, thanks

Your NET calories (on your home page) should be as close to the daily goal MFP set for you as possible.
Your REMAINING calories (on your homepage and food diary page) should be as close to zero as possible.
MFP builds in a deficit for you based on the information you gave it: height, weight, lifestyle, goal weight loss, etc.. All you need to do is follow the calorie goals it gives you.
In other words... yes, eat those calories. And so close to your goal, you might want to consider dropping to 1/2 lb/week loss.0 -
yep. eat them! congrats on your weight loss! you mentioned wanting to maintain the same weight loss speed. i am not that close to my goal weight yet, but many people have said that as you get closer your weight loss slows, so don't be disheartened if that happens - it sounds like that's pretty much how it goes! best of luck to you!0

What baisleac said. She said it perfectly.0

Thank you all for your (really quick!) replies.
Explained very plainly - I think I maybe need to eat more than I am doing (although I must admit I'm not going hungry!).
Thanks also for the advice on the slowing down of weigh loss.
You are all an inspiration!
