Turkey mince suggestions?!
Hello all!
I brought some turkey mince, as I've never had it before and since it was lower fat than regular beef mince, I thought I'd give it a try!
Does anyone have any good turkey mince meal ideas or recipes? Planning on cooking it tonight and i am unsure of what to have
I am on a gluten free diet, but I have gluten free flour/ pasta/ breads, so if your meal uses them still post them and i'll just make the change!
Thanks everyone!

Is turkey mince what we in the states would call ground turkey? Like ground beef (hamburger), only turkey?
These two recipes are my faves for ground turkey:

http://www.skinnytaste.com/2010/08/greek-turkey-meatballs.html (with the skinny tzatziki that's also linked there)0 -

You can use it in any recipe you would use ground beef in ~ I especially love it in tacos0

I agree you can sub ground turkey or chicken and sometimes even ground pork (sausage w/o skins) for most any beef recipe you have. Only thing is if you're going to do that and the recipe calls for beef stock or gravy, change to a matching flavor, unless you want the beef flavor but not the fat.
I rarely use ground beef anymore and don't really have any favorites. I posted a recipe for turkey burgers awhile back that was a tweak of a knock off recipe of those chicken burgers now found in Costco/Sams club you see on everyone's diary
You can even combine the different ground meats to make a nice flavorful meatloaf too (or meatballs even).0 -
Is turkey mince like ground turkey? I made some bomb turkey tacos the other night with ground turkey... and I've made cheese stuffed turkey meatballs to go with pasta.0
