Losing Weight

It seems like I have been on a diet my whole life (almost 55 years.) I have managed my weight pretty well, though I seem to gain and lose the same 5-10 pounds on a regular basis. I have been slow to learn that managing your weight is about balance and moderation, not sacrifice and deprivation. It is about teaching yourself to make some good choices, enjoying food, and caring about yourself.

Exactly! If you deprive yourself certain foods (especially ones you LOVE) you will never stick with it. That is what is wrong with most diets, the restrict too much. My whole life has been a diet as well, or at least since I was old enough to know what a diet was! LOL! Good luck with your journey! :happy:0
