I'm not on a low card diet, or anything like that, however, I noticed I need to increase my protein intake. What are your suggestions of foods that are high in protein but low carb?

I have to also share that I eat carbs since I run I need them for energy so I'd like ideas to add with my snacks and/or meals.

Thanks!!!

I dunno about low carb, other than just straight up meat.

I do a lot of FF cottage cheese (rinsed in strainer if you wanna watch your sodium).
Whey protein powder is another great way to get it without carbs.

I'd love some new suggestions too - chicken and protein shake is getting a little 'samey' lol!

I do a 3 egg omelette with cheese every morning.
Low carb, and a decent amount of protein.
I throw ham and turkey into it on occasion.

Little franks red hot on top, and its amazing.

I eat a lot of eggbeaters for breakfast. I throw in some mushrooms and cheese to it. I have a big salad every day for lunch with roasted chunks of chicken or shrimp in there. I snack on mozzrella cheese sticks. I use protein powder when hitting the gym hard. I eat meat every night for dinner. I generally stay away from carbs or anything that comes in a box.

    I'm a big fan of egg whites. 6 egg whites = 102 calories, 2 g carbs, 21 g protein:) It's one of my favorite post-workout snacks!
  • Cottage cheese (try to buy no salt added)
    Greek yogurt (plain)
    Nuts
    Eggs whites
    Most fish fillets
    Chicken breast

Friendship Brand cottage cheese has no salt added. Only 60 mg in 1/2 cup serving. But it's not fat free, 1%. Small price to pay for me.
