Is anyone willing to share their menu with me that is consistently losing? I am set at 1200 and exercise daily with maybe one rest day I burn between 600-1000. I try to eat at least half my exercise calories. I feel as if I am pretty fit but I am completely stuck and can not get rid of the layer of fat lingering on my body. I started a 55 min weight lifting program a couple weeks ago ( The Firm) and I do it every other day I burn over 900 with it and i do a cardio workout the other days I was hoping the weight lifting workout would help to get the scale moving but nothing. Oh and the big thing that bothers me is my husband started with a healthy eating plan the same time i did with NO cardio only about 15 min a day on the weights and some push ups and he dropped 20 pounds in about 2 months. He looks amazing his muscle are very defined and is still losing weekly. It is so frustrating. Any advice would be so helpful. I know men and woman are different but this is crazy with all the exercise I do I feel like I should have lost double the weight as him he tells me to stop exercising so much but I enjoy it. I don't know what to do.

If you're only eating back half your exercise calories (I hate to say this, because I know you're trying), that means you're netting about 700 - 900 calories a day. No wonder you're not losing as your body is adapting to this calorific intake. Try increasing the number of exercise calories you eat, or better yet - set your daily target to 1300 or 1400. You may experience a prolongation of the plateau for a while as your body accepts it can relax, but after that you should start losing again. I have been through this entire experience myself and adjusting calories worked for me.

Ok thanks I had I thought that might be it, but I remember reading about if your short you don't need to eat all the exercise calories back. I will start today! At this point I am willing to try anything. Its hard to watch the weight poor off my husband :explode:
