Anyone try the"Insulin Resistance Diet"? If so, what are/were your results?

I have IR. And I not doing the IR diet presay but I am eating clean and doing Primal so it's a very close to IR. I've lost 31lbs since Feb and several inches all around 3 dress sizes ...0

I am also IR, I do a primal/ keto way of eating. It works great I think they only problem is people think of this lifestyle as a diet instead and when they go back to eating all the carbs they gain the weight back. The either eat the wrong carbs , too many, or did not transition off well if they chose not to this for a lifestyle. So my advice would be just make sure to plan what you want to do before you do it.0

how do you know if you do have IR? I have a really hard time losing weight if any! It seems like everything i eat, i gain weight!0

that is a great question. Have you talked to your doctor about it? if you have PCOS, there is a very good chance you have IR. What kind of doctor diagnosed you, and who is treating you?0

I'm T2. I eat low carb and eat to my meter. If it makes my BG high, I don't eat it. Exercise really helps with insulin resistance. I try to do something after meals.0

Im severely insulin resistant. I didnt stop eating carbs or things i liked i just controled my portions and worked out daily and i lost 70lbs in less then a year but one thing i did almost completely stop eating was sugar. but i eat alot of carbs. And was on medication to treat my insulin resistance0

clean eating and exercise here. I do limit sugar even fruit. I try to cook every meal and stay away from processed foods.0
